About Ardwick Railway Station

Ardwick is an unstaffed station serving the inner-city neighbourhood of Manchester, 1.5 km south-east of the city centre. It is on both the Hope Valley Line and the Glossop Line, with services every day except Sunday. The station has a ticket machine and a seating area, but there is no step-free access to the platforms.

Close to the station is Ardwick Green Park, a welcome green space and formal garden for walking or taking children to play. There are a number of restaurants on the high street and the O2 Apollo (an old Art-Deco, Grade-II listed building) is a popular venue for live music.

We don’t currently have an active Friends group at this station. If you are interested in getting involved please use the web form on the contact page to get in touch.
