Belle Vue railway station is a stop on the Hope Valley line and serves the area of Belle Vue, close to Manchester city centre. There are no facilities at the station except a ticket machine, and no step-free access to the platforms.
The station was built in 1875 and quickly became popular with those visiting the Belle Vue Zoological Gardens, which closed in the 1980s.
Belle Vue is in the area of Gorton and has a number of local parks including Debdale Park and Bellevue Leisure Park. It’s a residential area popular with families due to its good local amenities and good transport links.
