About Dinting Railway Station

Dinting railway station serves the village of Dinting and is a stop on the Glossop line. It’s covered by the High Peak and Hope Valley CRP.

The area is notable for the nearby Dinting Viaduct, a 19th-century creation that carries the trainline over a valley. Dinting is also well-located for those who want to get out and explore the countryside. Walkers and cyclists will enjoy access to the Longdendale Way with its spectacular views across the Peak District.

Nearby Glossop has lots of interesting activities for a day out, from exploring the medieval old town to walking in Manor Park. The town is at the base of Snake Pass and is a jumping off point for lots of super walks.
