Newton for Hyde railway station serves the Newton area of Hyde and is 7.5 miles east of Manchester city centre. The station has ticket machines and a staffed ticket office (limited hours).
Within a few minutes walk of the station is Hyde Park, a great space for all the family to enjoy with children’s play areas, buggy-friendly paths, lots of open spaces and picnic tables, plus a woodland walk. More information on activities are available here.Â
