Gillian joined the CRP in 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in commissioning services and engaging with local communities across the north-west. Her knowledge and understanding of the areas, issues, and opportunities the railways can offer across the network are invaluable at the CRP.
Her previous role was as Engagement Manager with the Canal and River Trust, responsible for the north-west. She has also worked in commissioning for Trafford Council and Age UK, both roles involving community engagement, developing services, working with volunteers and co-ordinating projects that meet local need.
Outside of work, Gillian is a busy mum who loves spending her free time in her garden.
