Reddish North railway station is one of two that serve the area of Reddish in Stockport, about 5 miles south-east of Manchester city centre. The other is Reddish South.
The station is close to North Reddish Park where there are football pitches, bowling greens and various multi-use areas, as well as spaces for children to play and families to have picnics.
The beautiful Reddish Vale Country Park is about 1.5 miles from the station. This 161-acre park runs along the River Tame with walking and cycling routes and plentiful wildlife to enjoy along the wetlands. More information is available here.Â
